About Kistler Games

I started Kistler Games because my two areas of work kept pointing toward the same problem.

In tabletop games, most designs assume that everyone at the table should make roughly the same kinds of decisions.

In special education and behavior analysis, I learned to look more closely at what meaningful participation requires for different people.

My work in Special Education

Since 2018, I have worked with people with intellectual disabilities through in-home care, special education research, clinical behavior therapy, and public schools.

I earned an M.A. in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Special Education in 2024 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2025.

I also spent two years as a District Behavior Specialist for Allen ISD, where I designed behavior supports, worked directly with students, and led teacher trainings.

My Work in Games

I have designed and researched games in academic labs at Vanderbilt University and the University of Minnesota. These included research on published hits like Baba is You as well as theater games, game-based interventions for Autism, and more.

My professional tabletop experience began in 2023 as a Production Intern at Leder Games during the later development of Arcs and Arcs: The Blighted Reach.

Since then, I have worked as a freelance designer and producer on two games, and as a developer on multiple upcoming titles for Stone Blade Entertainment.
